CG Olumode: We thank President Tinubu for making the right decision – Deacon Otitoju Olusuyi
A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State and National Coordinator of the Okun Development Initiative (ODI), Deacon Hon Olusuyi Otitoju, has commended President Bola Tinubu for appointing CG Adeyemi Samuel Olumode as Controller General of the Federal Fire Service.
In a statement, Deacon Otitoju described the appointment as a “round peg in a round hole”, saying CG Olumode has consistently provided leadership that has reshaped the service, improving personnel capacity and welfare.
He urged CG Olumode to make judicious use of the opportunity to serve and continue to be a good ambassador of the Okun nation, saying “to whom much is given, much more is expected”.

He prayed that God grants him wisdom, knowledge, and good health to lead the service to greater heights.
