Commander Jerry Omodara (rtd) Represents Gov. Ododo at Hon. Duro Meseko’s 60th Birthday and Book Launch
Commander Jerry Omodara (rtd), State Security Adviser to Kogi State, represented Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo at the 60th birthday celebration and book launch of Hon. Duro Meseko, APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary and Chairman of the Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI).
The dual event, held at ThisDay Dome in Central Area, Abuja, drew political leaders, traditional rulers, and well-wishers from across Nigeria.
Speaking on behalf of Governor Ododo, Commander Omodara (rtd) congratulated Hon. Meseko on attaining the milestone age, describing him as a committed party man and grassroots mobilizer whose contributions to the APC and Kogi politics remain invaluable.

“On behalf of His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, I congratulate Hon. Duro Meseko on his 60th birthday and the successful launch of his book. He is a man of ideas, loyalty, and service. Kogi State is proud of him,” Omodara said.
The book, _Durosinmi Meseko: An Odyssey through the Media, Activism and Leadership_, was launched at the occasion. It documents his political journey, experiences in party administration, and perspectives on nation-building.
Dignitaries at the event prayed for long life, good health, and greater impact for the celebrant as he begins a new chapter.
The celebration ended with tributes, goodwill messages, and cultural displays in honor of the celebrant.
