COMMUNIQUE ISSUED AT THE END OF A WORLD PRESS CONFERENCE BY TINUBU-KARIMI BEYOND 2027 POLITICAL MOVEMENT ON THE FORGERY OF APC KOGI WEST SENATORIAL PRIMARY RESULTS

We, the Leadership of TINUBU-KARIMI BEYOND 2027 POLITICAL MOVEMENT in conjunction with concerned stakeholders, and loyal members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) gathered today in Kabba, the Headquarters of Kogi West Senatorial District to address a matter of urgent public importance.
As staunch believers in democratic principles, we are deeply concerned by the recent undemocratic tendencies and clandestine plots to subvert the will of the people through the forged primary elections results, in an attempt to imposing unpopular candidate on the electorates.

After extensive deliberations and a critical review of the of the FORGED RESULTS SHEET, this conference observes the following:
A) The Criminal violation of the Constitution:
Forgery is a criminal offence. It is a deliberate attempt to bypass the party’s constitution and the Electoral Act, which explicitly attracts 15 years in jail.
B) An attempt to Impose one particular Aspirant:
The party leadership in Kogi state is allegedly desperate at attempting to foist a “consensus” candidate on the electorates after a free, fair and transparent primary election that produced Distinguished Senator Steve Karimi has been conducted

Following these observations, we resolve and state unequivocally as follows:
1) Call On the POLICE for Investigations
We agreed that the Police should step in and commence immediate investigation, arrest and prosecution of all the people involved in the FORGERY saga.
Alhough we are not surprised that these desperate elements can go ahead to forged the result sheet, we only want them to realize that this is not going to be easy for them like the way they FORGED THE FUEL SUBSIDY DOCUMENTS and got away with it.
2) We totally and unequivocally reject any attempt to impose a candidate on the party.
We demand that the National and State leadership of the All Progressives Congress should without delay, issue a certificate of Return to Distinguished Senator Steve Karimi as the authentic winner of Kogi West Senatorial District primary election.
3) Ultimatum to Party Leadership:
We give the party leadership 48 hours to publicly dissociate itself from the alleged FORGED RESULTS.
4) CONCLUSION
We remain committed to the growth, stability, and ultimate victory of the All Progressives Congress in the upcoming elections.
However, we will not stand idly by and watch a few individuals mortgage the collective mandate of Distinguished Senator Steve Karimi.
We call on our teeming supporters to remain peaceful, law-abiding, and resolute as we continue to defend the tenets of internal democracy.
