DEFENDING THE MANDATE OF KOGI WEST: SUNDAY STEVEN KARIMI REMAINS THE APC CANDIDATE

The Sunday Steven Karimi Progressive Movement wishes to state clearly that the outcome of the APC primary election in Kogi West is final, transparent, and reflects the will of the people.

*Hon. Abdulganiyu Abdullahi* said:
> “We have documented proof of the primary election and the official declaration. Distinguished Senator Sunday Steven Karimi won the election convincingly. No one who did not participate in the primary can be declared the winner. Any attempt to alter this result by political enemies of Kogi West will be resisted by the people.”
The people of Kogi West came out en masse and voted overwhelmingly for Senator Sunday Steven Karimi. He is the choice of Kogi West, and the mandate is clear.
If there are any attempts to subvert this result, we will mobilize our members across Kogi West to embark on a peaceful demonstration in Abuja on Tuesday, by God’s grace, to defend the mandate and demand that the party uphold due process and the will of the people.
The Sunday Steven Karimi Progressive Movement stands firmly with the people of Kogi West. We will always support the will of the people and the decisions of our political leader above any personal or external interest.
We call on the APC leadership to uphold the integrity of the process, respect the declaration made, and allow peace and justice to prevail.
