CP ADESINA ISSUES CHEQUES TO FAMILIES OF POLICE FALLEN HEROES
Today at the Command Headquarters here in Jos, the Plateau State Commissioner of Police, CP Olugbemiga Emmanuel Adesina, psc representing the Inspector General of Police, IGP Olukayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM presented cheques totaling One Hundred and Thirty-Two Million, Four Hundred and Nine Thousand, Five Hundred and Fifty-Seven Naira, Nineteen Kobo (N132, 409,557.19K) only to families of Police officers who unfortunately lost their lives while in active service.
While expressing his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, CP Adesina emphasized that the Nigeria Police Force places so much importance on the welfare of its personnel and their loved ones.
He acknowledged that while the financial support provided may not fully alleviate their pain and bring back to life their bread winners, it serves as a gesture of gratitude for the sacrifices made by their loved ones.
He further stated that, this initiative reaffirms the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force under the leadership of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Olukayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM to supporting its personnel and honoring the memory of those who have bravely served their beloved mother land.
Represented by Mr Abraham Joseph Chimkul, the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the IGP and the CP for swiftly addressing their needs and prayed for the Almighty’s protection over all members of the Police Force and their families.
