According to Omadivi, the new president of the club, Alhaji Abdullahi Kayode Mamman, who stated this while addressing members and friends of the club over a special lunch in honour of the immediate past President of the Club, Alhaji Abdulrazaq Onivehu Leramoh, lauded the governor for consolidating on the achievements of the past administration.
He observed positively that Governor Ododo Is a man of necessity who has brought everyone together to make Kogi a united, industralized and economic hub of Nigeria.
Alhaji Mamman thanked the Governor for his foresight in such areas as the proposed international airport, improved secunty improvement in education, zeal for the completion of Ajaokuta Steel Plant, and improved infrastructure especially road network in the entire state
The President was particulerty happy that the Governor had seen the need to ensure that the workers welfare was paramount among the needs of the State
He promised that the cub would soon have audience with the number one citizen to present to him some other novel ideas to lift the state to an enviable height.
