The management and staff of Michabifem Ventures Limited, publishers of Democracy Newsline Newspaper, are celebrating the 49th birthday of Kogi Commissioner for Information, Kingsley Fanwo.
In a message made available to newsmen in Lokoja, Fanwo is described as a seasoned journalist and media professional who has been serving as Commissioner for Information and Communication in Kogi State since Yahaya Bello’s administration and was reappointed under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
As Commissioner, Fanwo has been instrumental in managing state information policy, public communication, and government media relations, ensuring transparency and public engagement in Kogi governance.

He has also been a key figure in promoting peace and unity in the state, urging citizens to safeguard public infrastructure for rapid development.
Fanwo’s commitment to his work has earned him recognition, including a recent visit to Radio Kogi Ochaja station after vandalization, which was appreciated by Governor Ododo.
The Commissioner has also been involved in various initiatives, including presenting the Kogi Stride Magazine to Governor Ododo.
