Deputy Speaker Congratulates Prof. Usman Ogbo on Re-Appointment as Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic
The Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba, has congratulated Prof. Usman Ogbo on his re-appointment as Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic for another four years.
In a statement issued on July 1, 2024, the Deputy Speaker described Prof. Ogbo’s re-appointment as a well-deserved recognition of his hard work and leadership style, which has transformed the institution and contributed to the economic growth of Kogi State.
She commended Prof. Ogbo’s exceptional leadership qualities and achievements over the past five years, which have led to significant transformations in the polytechnic. She expressed confidence in his ability to build on his successes and consolidate the gains of the New Direction government across the state.

The Deputy Speaker also commended His Excellency, Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, for his vision and commitment to unity, peace, and development in Kogi State. She appealed to the polytechnic community to join hands with Prof. Ogbo and the government to achieve meaningful development and take the institution to greater heights.
