The Rt. Hon. Alhassan Ado Doguwa, Leader of the Northern Caucus and Chairman of the APC Caucus, Doguwa/Tudun Wada Stakeholders’ Council, has led an all-inclusive APC registration exercise in Doguwa Local Government Area of Kano State, marking a significant boost for the ruling party.
The exercise witnessed the formal reception of several prominent members of the defunct NNPP into the APC, reflecting a broad-based and reconciliatory approach to party building. Among those present were the Kano State Commissioner for Water Resources and former APC State Chairman, Alhaji Umar Haruna Doguwa; Engr. Ado Ibrahim Doguwa; and the Chairman of Doguwa Local Government Council, Hon. Abdul Rashid Doguwa, alongside members of the council’s executive and legislative arms. Also received were a large number of NNPP decampees, many of whom are serving government officials, from across Doguwa LGA. The development underscores growing confidence in the APC’s leadership and vision at both state and national levels.
Addressing party members, stakeholders unanimously pledged their loyalty and commitment to the APC, affirming their resolve to work for the party’s overall success under the leadership of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, at the centre, and in alignment with the constitutional leadership of His Excellency, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, at the sub-national level, in strict adherence to democratic principles.
Participants described the development as a “win-win situation” for all party members, noting that unity, inclusion, and shared purpose remain central to the APC’s growth. They further affirmed their collective commitment as co-drivers of the Governor’s political vision, aptly captured in the slogan “KANO FIRST!”
Insha Allah.
