Asiru AbdulRasaq Ijagbemi, his immediate family, the entire Yagba community, Okunland, and indeed the great people of Kogi State on the passing of your beloved father, Alhaji Asiru Ijagbemi, at the blessed age of 95 years Alhamdullah.

Alhaji Asiru Ijagbemi lived a long, impactful life, leaving behind legacies of discipline, wisdom, and community service. His departure at such a remarkable age is not only a personal loss to his immediate family but also a collective loss to Yagba land, Okunland, and Kogi State at large.
“Every soul shall taste death. And only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, it is he who will have attained success.” – Qur’an 3:185
We pray that Almighty Allah (SWT), in His infinite mercy, forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds, and admit him into Aljannatul Firdaus. May Allah grant the entire family the strength, patience, and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
We also pray that this moment of grief be transformed into a reminder of his inspiring journey and a legacy of faith, values, and dignity that will continue to guide future generations.
