Dr. Femi Olubiyo, President of Okun Legend Club of Okunland, Sympathizes with Governor Ododo on the Passing of His Father

Akin Fanodun – kabba

The President of the prestigious Okun Legend Club of Okunland, Dr. Femi Olubiyo, has expressed his deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, and the entire Ododo family, over the passing of his beloved father, the late Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo, who peacefully returned to his Creator at the age of 83.

Dr. Olubiyo noted that the death of a father marks one of the heaviest blows in human life, for fathers are not only the head of the family but also symbols of wisdom, guidance, and protection. He described the late Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo as a man who lived a fulfilled life of humility, discipline, and godliness, raising children who continue to contribute positively to the development of their communities and the nation at large.

Speaking further, Dr. Olubiyo stated that the virtues of integrity, hard work, and service evident in Governor Ododo’s leadership reflect the moral foundation laid by his late father. He stressed that while the death of a loved one leaves an irreplaceable vacuum, it is also an opportunity to celebrate a life well lived, anchored in faith and service to humanity.

On behalf of the Okun Legend Club of Okunland, he prayed that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgives the shortcomings of the deceased, accepts his good deeds, and grants him eternal rest in Al-Jannah Firdaus. He also prayed that Almighty Allah grants His Excellency, his family, and the entire Ododo household the fortitude, patience, and courage to bear this painful loss with submission to the will of God.

Dr. Olubiyo further assured the Governor that the Okun Legend Club stands in solidarity with him and will continue to uphold him and his family in prayers. He urged the people of Kogi State, especially the Okun people, to remember that the strength of a leader in times of grief is greatly sustained by the love, support, and prayers of his people.
