Dr. Kwarpo Receives Best Performing House of Assembly Member Award in Plateau State

Dr. Mathew Sylvanus Kwarpo, Member representing Mangu South at the Plateau State House of Assembly, received the Best Performing Member of the Year 2025 award. The award was presented at an event organized by Mutfwang’s Advocate.
Plateau State has 24 state constituencies at the State House of Assembly.

Responding to the award, Dr. Kwarpo expressed appreciation to God and the organization for finding him worthy.
He said, “Mutfwang’s Advocate is really advocating for Plateau State. It is with joy that they found me qualified for the award as the best performing House of Assembly member of the year, 2025. The award didn’t come as a surprise considering our landmark achievements in Mangu South Constituency and Plateau State, particularly in education.”
He highlighted constructing new classroom blocks, renovating schools, and supporting over 257 students affected by crises in Mangu LGA.
“We paid school fees, teachers’ salaries, and other expenses. The government has absorbed the school, making it a Government Secondary School.”
Dr. Kwarpo also welcomed Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s defection to APC, saying, “It’s a welcome development. Mutfwang is the people’s Governor and a humble personality. His coming will add value to our party.”
