DSS Denies Involvement in NNPC Boss Bayo Ojulari’s Alleged Abduction and Forced Resignation
The Department of State Services (DSS) has denied allegations of abducting and forcing the NNPC boss, Bayo Ojulari, to resign.
According to an impeccable source close to the secret police, the DSS know nothing about the said abduction and forceful resignation of Mr Ojulari.
Meanwhile according to reports, Ojulari was allegedly taken by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the DSS on Friday night, August 1, 2025, and pressured to sign a resignation letter, pointed out that the Presidency has also denied reports of Ojulari’s sack or forced resignation, with Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, dismissing the report as false and unfounded.
Ojulari has been facing allegations of financial mismanagement and fraudulent dealings, including claims of laundering billions of naira from NNPC coffers.
Reports also suggest that Ojulari was questioned about his alleged ties to Olatimbo Ayinde, a British-Nigerian oil businesswoman with significant influence in the Tinubu administration.
