Ebira Doctors Praise Ododo’s Strategic Health Investments in 2 Years

The Ebira Doctors Forum (EDF) in Kogi State, has congratulated Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo on completing two impactful years in office, lauding his administration’s remarkable strides in transforming Kogi State’s health sector.
In a statement on Monday in Lokoja, jointly signed by the EDF President Dr Zubair Kabiru, and its Secretary Dr Shaibu Moses, the association commended the governor for introducing health workers’ motivation allowance.
The Association also applauded the governor for reviving medical education, and strengthening healthcare infrastructure.
“We heartily congratulate His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, on completing two impactful years in office.
“Your administration has made remarkable strides in transforming Kogi State’s health sector, an aspiration long held by the Ebira Doctors Forum.
“Notably, the introduction of the health workers’ motivation allowance has significantly boosted morale and helped stem the tide of brain drain within the state’s health workforce.
“This bold move has rejuvenated our spirits and reaffirmed our commitment to serving the people of Kogi State,” EDF added.
The Association also praised the governor for his strategic investment in the state’s healthcare future, including the commencement of medical training programmes at Prince Abubakar Audu University and Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara.
The EDF further appreciated Governor Ododo for appointing its members into strategic positions and providing necessary support, saying his administration’s efforts have boosted morale and stemmed brain drain in the health workforce.
“We wish you many more years of purposeful, people-oriented, and impactful leadership in the service of Kogi State,” the EDF stated.
They wished him many more years of impactful leadership.
