Ekinrin Ade Community Confers Chieftaincy Title Of Otunba Akingbade On Chief Isa Salifu
It was full of pomps and peagentries as Ekinrin Adde community in Ijumu local government area of Kogi state celebrates day in grant style with men and women from all walks of life gathered at this year celebration to celebrate with the good people of Ekinrin-Adde Community.
The 30th Ekinrin-Adde day celebration was well attended and notable Nigerians were conferred with chieftaincy titles. Notable among the recipient of the chieftaincy title is Chief (Dr) Isa Salifu.
The Community monarch, Oba Idowu Anthony Bamigbaiye who conferred the chieftaincy title said the traditional council under his leadership find Chief (Dr) Isa Salifu worthy as an outstanding personality whose contribution to humanity and the community in particular and Kogi State in general cannot be over emphasized hence, the decision of the council to honour him as the Otunba Akingbade of Ekinrin-Adde community
The revered monarch urged Chief (Dr) Isa Salifu to continue to distinguished himself as one of the ambassadors of the community wherever he finds himself, stressing that the country ommunity will continue to honour and recognize any deserving personalities that have contributed immensely to the development of the community and humanity.
Speaking to newsmen after the conferment of chieftaincy title of Otunba Akingbade on Chief (Dr) Isa Salifu, he said he was humbled and honoured for the recognition for the chieftaincy title bestowed on him by the people of Ekinrin-Adde community, stressing that the recognition would further strengthen the cordial relationship between Kogi West and East respectively.
Chief (Dr) Isa Salifu said he knows much about the community noting that with the recognition, he would continue to do his best for not only the community but humanity at large, noting that the reward for good work is more work.
