EMBRACE PEACE AND ESCHEW VIOLENCE PLATEAU YOUTHS

The Leader of Secure’24 wish to caution our teeming youths to decease from the wanton destruction of hard earned properties and businesses of fellow citizens in the metropolis.

With this unnecessary development that’s putting to a halt economic activities in the Jos/Bukuru metropolis, these perceived enemies of progress are bent on truncating the amiable efforts of Mr Governor in putting our state on the right trajectory. #Endbadgovernance will actually be achieved if we the youths fully participate in the leadership recruitment process of our locality through our civic right of voting and be voted for so that we hold every electee responsible to non achievement by voting them out in the next electoral circle, this will go a long way in keeping our leaders on their toes. Protest is also a constitutional responsibility to put our leaders in check but it should always be peaceful. We need to rally round His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Muftwang to continue delivering the dividends of democracy as we are witnessing for over a year now with programs being churned out for the upkeep and betterment of the populace.

The unruly behaviour of some perceived hooligans even with a curfew put in place is highly uncalled for and earnestly condemned by the Secure team mandate.

Though we are passing through excruciating and challenging times as to the results of inflation along with stringent policies of the government at the centre, we do owe ourselves a high level of calmness to remain resolute for workable modalities are been put in place by the state government to cushion the effect of the harsh conditions we are experiencing.

Lets call ourselves to order in remaining peaceful and shun all forms of thuggery especially as the local government election is fast approaching. We have no other place aside from Plateau state, hence all hands must be on deck to curtail the circle of violence going on in some parts of the metropolis so as to step up our game in moving our dear state forward in order to put our detractors to shame.

Our state is dabbed the Home of Peace and Tourism, so we need to vigorously sustain the ambience of our unique God given environment with all humility. Remember that the greatest secrets in life are always hidden in the most unlikely places.

God bless the omnipresent and gallant youths on the Plateau.
