Former Kogi Speaker, Rt. Hon. Matthew Kolawole Mourns Passing of Madam Funke Ajigi

Rt. Hon. Mathew Kolawole, former Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, has expressed deep condolences to the Ajigi family and the Gbeleko Aginmi community on the passing of Madam Funke Ajigi, a beloved mother and matriarch.

Madam Ajigi, who passed away at 85, was remembered for her grace, discipline, and quiet strength.

According to him, Madam Funke was a cornerstone in her family and community, respected for her wisdom, humility, and motherly guidance.

As someone from the same Gbeleko community, Rt. Hon. Kolawole attested to Madam Ajigi’s influence on many lives, including his own.

Her compound was a place of peace, warmth, and wise counsel, and her legacy lives on through her children and the countless lives she touched.

He described Madam Ajigi’s passing as a deep personal loss, but found solace in the rich and fulfilled life she lived, stressing that her legacy lives on through her children and the countless lives she touched

He prayed for the strength of the Ajigi family during this time of grief and wished Madam Ajigi’s soul eternal rest.

Rt. Hon. Kolawole’s heartfelt condolences reflect the impact Madam Ajigi had on her community and the lives of those who knew her.
