The Kwara State governor, His Excellency Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq has solicited support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration.

The Governor made this appeal on Monday at the while felicitating with the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness , Dr. Ibrahim Zulu- Gambari on the occasion of 29th years anniversary of his coronation as Emir of the historic emirate.
His Excellency said the government at all levels could feel the pulse of hardship in the society, noting that the country is passing through the process of transformation which apparently always difficult. He assured with government on going efforts, the challenges would be subdued.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Youth Development, Hon. Ayodele Olawande has earlier reiterated the position of the federal government to add value to the teaming Nigeria youths.
It is worthy of note that the Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association in partnership with Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) organised the event themed ‘Rising Together: Driving Growth Through Inclusion’ to celebrate the coronation of the Emir and also geared towards bringing to the awareness of the youths in the grassroots the policies of empowerment programmes of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led administration.
While appreciating the organisers of the event and management of the National Youth Service Corps, Kwara State for the support since his arrival in the state, the Minister of Youth Development, tipped NYSC as a driven force for youth modern development.
He stated that the present administration has prioritised and mechanised youth empowerment through modern skill acquisition and NYSC has been delivering this service unrelentingly to millions of youth corps over the years.
The minister disclosed that government is striving to create economy driven modern Nigeria. He therefore encouraged youths to gear their efforts towards acquiring skills . ‘one man, two skills’ according to him. He further pledged to concentrate energy on ensuring that youths across all Local Government Areas are empowered with skill-set.
While commending the honourable minister, the State Coordinator of the NYSC Kwara , Mr. Onifade Olaoluwa said having a vibrant, energetic and goal driven personality, such as Hon. Ayodele Olawande as substantive minister of youth has delivered a lot of encouragement to the public sphere and also give Nigeria youth, most especially, the National Youth Service Corps a resounding strength to press further in actualising the mandate of the scheme.
Other dignitaries at the event were the Kwara State Commissioner for Youth Development, Ambassador shehu Ndanusa Usman, General Manager of KWASSIP, Dr. Tejidini Abdulwasiu Olayinka and hosts of others from private sectors .
