Gov. Ododo Sympathizers with Over 100 Jamata Community Residents Affected by Cooking Gas Explosion.

More than 100 houses in Jamata Community of Lokoja LGA have been razed down as a result of Cooking Gas.

The explosion brought down buildings, with properties Worth millions of Naira affected.

In a visit to the area, the State Government lamented the losses, advised citizens to be weary in the use of cooking gas.

Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo gave the advice when he visited members of Jamata Community, expressed shock over the losses done to several houses.

Gov. Ododo advised the people on how they lit their cooking gas without taking consideration of time and environment.

The adviser by the Governor was conveyed to the people through the Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural resources, Engr. Bashir Abubakar Gegu.

The Governor promised to continue to serve humanity with all his might and capabilities, urged the people to pick up the pieces of their lives, promised Government assistance.

He employed all and sundry to abide by the rules of Gas usage, pointing out that the accident was avoidable, but for negligence and not abiding by the rules of the use of using cooking gas.

The Governor thanked the Chairman of Unicane, Alh Kabiru Shaibu for the support done to the people of the Community, assured of immediate and long term support to enable the residents get back on their feet and in their businesses.
