GOVERNOR BAGO APPROVES PAYMENT OF EXAMINATION FEES FOR HEALTH TECHNOLOGY STUDENTS IN NIGER STATE

Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has approved the payment of National Examination Fees for all Students in Government-owned Schools of Health Technology across the State who are sitting for National Examinations this year.

A statement issued by Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Abubakar Usman explained that this commendable initiative demonstrates the Governor’s unwavering commitment to advancing healthcare education and supporting aspiring healthcare professionals in the State.

The SSG revealed that the Governor’s approval covers all qualifying Students preparing to sit for their National Examinations in various Health Technology Programmes.

Alhaji Usman further disclosed that the gesture aims to alleviate the financial burden on Students and their families while promoting excellence in healthcare education.

He stressed that the support is expected to significantly increase the participation rate in National Examinations and contribute to producing more qualified healthcare professionals for the State.

The SSG emphasized the present administration’s dedication to investing in human capital development, particularly in the healthcare sector.

According to Alhaji Usman, “Our Government recognizes the critical role of well-trained healthcare professionals in building a robust healthcare system. By removing financial barriers to these examinations, we are investing in the future of our healthcare delivery system”.

This gesture demonstrates Governor Bago’s commitment to supporting the educational pursuits of Niger State students, particularly those in the health sector. By shouldering the burden of examination fees, adding that the Governor aims to alleviate financial constraints that may hinder students’ progress.

The SSG noted that the payment of examination fees is part of Governor Bago’s broader efforts to promote quality education and healthcare in the State. His administration has implemented various initiatives to upgrade educational infrastructure and expand access to healthcare services.
