Guber Poll:Forum of Former Kogi Assembly members congratulates Gov. Elect Ododo
A former Majority leader in the Kogi State House of Assembly and chairman Forum of former House of Assembly members, Hon Alhassan Salisu Adakeke has congratulated the Governor elect Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo on his election victory.
In a congratulatory message on Monday, the Forum chairman, Hon Adakeke described Ododo victory as historic, and well-deserved..
He noted that the victory of Ododo will further unite and consolidate on the unprecedented development of the present administration.

Adakeke, who is a former Lawmaker representing Bassa State Constituency and currently the Adviser to the Governor on Primary health care, described Ododo as a Man of capacity, tested and trusted with leadership steam to Excel in his new positions.
However, Adakeke called on the co-contestants to look beyond party line and support the newly elected Governor of Kogi State. He emphasized that, Ododo has the capacity to deliver on the mandate given to him in view of his track records which has gained him both national and international recognized.
Hon. Adakeke also thanked the people of Kogi State for trooping out in a large number on the election day and for heeding the persuasive campaign to vote for Ododo, noting that, their action contributed immensely to the victory of Alh Usman Ododo at the polls.
He also called on all Kogites to remain peaceful and resist any attempt to be used by aggrieved politicians to disrupt the peace of the state.
Hon. Adakeke urged the incoming Governor to carry along all the sections of the state in consolidating on the giant strides of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello in the distribution of amenities and other services in the state .
He appealed to the people of the state to continue to cooperate and support the Governor elect in his efforts at taking the state to the next level.
“The people of Kogi State have already reposed their confidence in you and are looking up to you for the dividends of democracy. Electing you (Ododo) as the next democratically elected Governor is a testament of the fact that you are the most qualified among others to handle the mantle of leadership and continue with the good work of Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello. Kogites are very proud of this development in our history and we are all optimistic that, thing will continue to work positively for our dear State”.
The former lawmaker, however, seized the opportunity to thank the current administration under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello for his development strides in the State, noting that, he will forever be a hero in the history of Kogi State for uniting the state and setting a pace in putting state on map of national development.
