HON. MUSA OLÚMÁYÒWÁ YAKUB OFFICIALLY DEFECTS TO ADC AMID MAMMOTH CROWD IN HIS HOMETOWN, IYAMOYE, IJUMU LGA, KOGI STATE
The political landscape of Kogi State witnessed a significant and symbolic shift as Hon. Musa Olúmàyòwá Yakubu Former House of representatives aspirant’s in 2019 for kabba/bunu ijumu federal constituency under PDP as well as former candidate for ijumu local government chairman has formally announced his defection to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) amid an overwhelming show of support from the people of his hometown, Iyamoye, in Ìjùmú Local Government Area.
The historic event, which attracted a mammoth crowd comprising party loyalists, market and Farmer leaders, youths, women groups, political stakeholders, and supporters from across wards and neighboring communities, marked a defining moment not only in Hon. Yakub’s political journey but also in the evolving political narrative of the district.
Speaking at the well-attended gathering, Hon. Musa Olúmàyòwá Yakub described his decision to join the ADC as a carefully considered step driven by conscience, conviction, and an unwavering commitment to the progress of his people.
