Hon. Ojo- Bakare Bags Cultural Ambassador’s Award

The Ekiti State Commissioner of the Ministry of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, Honorable, Rasaki Ojo-Bakare has received Cultural Ambassador’s Award.
Professor, Rasaki Ojo-Bakare who is also the Chairman, Forum of Arts, Culture and Tourism Commissioners of Nigeria, received the prestigious Award alongside other eminent and distinguished Nigerians at the 2025 International Museum day Celebration ,themed , ” The future of Museum In Rapidly Changing Communities”,organized by the National Commission of Museum and Monuments ,an event meant to Commemorates the day in Nigerian, held, Tuesday, May 20th, 2025, at the Chinese Cultural Center,Dabala Street, Wuse Zone 5, federal Capital Territory FCT Abuja.
Reacting to the honour accorded him, Ojo-Bakare expressed gratitude for the gestures, saying it was a mark of honor, respect and recognition for his Contribution to the Cultural development of Nigeria and also a call for more efforts towards Harnessing the Cultural potentials of Nigeria’s rich Cultural heritage.
While dedicating the Award to the Ekiti State Governor,His Excellency, Abiodun Oyebanji, he specifically appreciated the Governor for providing the platform that enabled him to strive, he also thanked other individuals who had Contributed to the Success of his Career.
Ojo-Bakere also expressed Concern over inadequate Funding of the Ministry of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, pointing out that this ugly trend has affected Nigeria from actualizing the economic potentials of the Creative Sector.
