Hon. Yakubu Izang Ezekiel Seeks State Assembly Seat
Hon. Yakubu Izang Ezekiel, former Executive Chairman of Jos East Local Government Council, has declared his interest in contesting for the Plateau State House of Assembly seat representing Jos East Constituency.
With the 2027 general election approaching, the politician cited his achievements in office as proof of his capability.
Speaking with journalists in Angware, Hon. Ezekiel highlighted his accomplishments, including opening rural roads, improving network coverage, and addressing security challenges.

He also provided motorcycles for security personnel, installed solar lights, and granted scholarships to PhD students.
He emphasized his experience as a councilor and executive chairman, saying he’s equipped to represent his people in the State House of Assembly.
“I’m not a novice, but better equipped to represent my people,” he said. If elected, he’ll support the state government’s programs impacting citizens’ lives.
