I won’t disappoint my people in Ajaokuta -Kogi Lawmaker Jibril assures constituents
The House of Assembly Member representing the people of Ajaokuta State Constituency Hon. Abu Onoruoiza Jibril has reiterated his desire and commitment to serving his people in his legislative duty to the state.
The legislature disclosed on Friday while fielding questions from Assembly Correspondent in Lokoja.
Hon. Jibril who stated that his first hundred days in office has been eventful and rewarding adding that, he has been able to extend hands of fellowship and give hopes to the people
“I’m here because of the people, to represent, to make laws and to oversee other ministry agency and department of government. My coming to Kogi State House of Assembly is not to come and make money for my self but rather, I came to serve my people by attracting all the needed development to Ajaokuta State Constituency.
“Like you all know, I recently empowered my constituent with the needed items for them to be self sufficient and I also dole out cash worth millions of naira. I will continue to do this with the money am earning as salaries.
“I want to use this medium to say a big thank to the people of Ajaokuta State Constituency for electing and believing in my capacity to deliver through dividend of democracy. Their effort towards elevating me to this glorious position won’t be taken for granted.
‘”Am also saying a big thank to my political mentor in Kogi State Alhaji Yahaya Bello for finding me worthy to be part of this progressive Government. Words alone can’t quantify my gratitude. My prayers is for God to give him the strength and wisdom to continue with his good work for the people of Kogi State.
The first time lawmaker, however, assured that the people of his constituency of genuine change and representation during his team as member of the State assembly.
