Theme: Reinforcing Our Unity Through Cultural Renaissance
The Ilemila Royal Family proudly announces the 2025 edition of Ilemila Day, a two-day cultural celebration designed to strengthen unity, preserve heritage, and promote intergenerational understanding within Oweland and beyond.
Guided by the family motto, “Omo a mu Akoko gbojo lo kowe to ga,” the event aims to inspire a renewed appreciation for our roots, values, and traditional systems that have shaped the identity of the Ilemila lineage.

Road Walk & Sensitization Rally

This awareness walk will engage community members, promote cultural pride, and encourage participation in the main event.
📌 Sunday, 28 December 2025
Main Cultural Celebration
Venue: 95 Degree Event Center, Plot 11/12 Kabba–Okene Road, GRA Extension, Kabba, Kogi State.
This grand gathering will showcase the rich cultural expressions, values, and traditions of the Ilemila Royal Family in Kabba, Kabba/Bunu Local government area of Kogi state
