OKENE, KOGI STATE — The Inorere/Ogaminana Ward, led by Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami, has paid a courtesy visit to the Accountant-General of Kogi State, Chief Dr. Habibat Oyiza Tijjani Onumoko, FCNA, FCTI, at her residence in Okene Local Government Area.

Speaking during the visit, Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami commended Chief Dr. Onumoko for her commitment to public service and also applauded Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for what he described as his leadership and commitment to the people of Kogi State.

Hon. Omuya further expressed strong appreciation for the “Supreme Leader,” describing him as a dependable political force and a leader capable of providing effective representation for the people of Kogi Central.

He reaffirmed the delegation’s confidence in the “Incoming Senator for Kogi Central Senatorial District, 2027,” expressing optimism that the candidate would emerge victorious and represent the people of Kogi Central in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, by the grace of Almighty God.

He also reaffirmed the delegation’s commitment to the continuity agenda of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, stressing that continuity in 2027 remains the collective objective of the group.

Responding, the Accountant-General, Chief Dr. Habibat Oyiza Tijjani Onumoko, expressed appreciation to the leadership and members of Inorere/Ogaminana Ward for the visit, describing their presence as a demonstration of friendship, respect, and solidarity.

She commended Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami and the entire delegation for their unity, maturity, and commitment to the development of their community and Kogi State.

Speaking on the political season and the importance of grassroots engagement, the Accountant-General noted that electoral success is largely determined at the grassroots, particularly from the wards to the polling units.

She therefore encouraged party members and supporters to remain united, organised, peaceful, and committed to effective grassroots mobilisation.

Chief Dr. Onumoko expressed confidence in the strength of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and her belief in the party’s prospects in the 2027 elections. She urged party supporters to continue working collectively and peacefully towards victory.

She further called on the people of Inorere/Ogaminana Ward and Kogi Central to maintain unity and peace while remaining committed to the collective development of the constituency.

According to her, political mandates should ultimately translate into meaningful service, development, and improved opportunities for the people.
