INTERNATIONAL PRESIDENT, STANDUP FOR WOMEN SOCIETY (SWS), CELEBRATES CHRISTIANS AT CHRISTMAS AND URGES SECURITY CONSCIOUSNESS DURING FESTIVE GATHERINGS

On behalf of the Standup for Women Society (SWS), the International President, Barr. Deborah Ijadele-Adetona extends heartfelt felicitations to Christians across Nigeria as they celebrate the joyous season of Christmas.

This special period reminds us of the virtues of love, peace, sacrifice, and compassion; values that strengthen our unity and collective humanity.

In a message made public by the media aide, stated that Christmas is not only a religious celebration; it is a season that calls all of us to reflect on kindness, generosity, and peaceful coexistence.

As families, friends, and communities gather to rejoice, may this season renew our hope and strengthen the bonds that hold us together as one nation under God.

We commend the Christian community for their continuous role in promoting peace, charity, and social development, especially in supporting the less privileged, advocating for justice, and contributing to nation-building. Your efforts continue to inspire resilience and unity across our dear country.

As we celebrate, the Standup for Women Society also calls on Nigerians to remain vigilant and security-conscious throughout all festive activities and public gatherings. Safety must remain a priority.

We urge communities, security agencies, religious leaders, and citizens to work together to ensure peaceful celebrations free from fear or harm.

Let us report suspicious activities, look out for one another, and stay alert as we approach the New Year.

This collective responsibility will help safeguard our homes, communities, and our nation.

We also use this opportunity to pray for lasting peace, progress, and prosperity for Nigeria.

May this Christmas bring joy to every home and may the New Year usher in renewed hope and greater achievements for all.

On behalf of the Standup for Women Society, I wish all Christians a Merry Christmas and all Nigerians a peaceful and prosperous New Year.
