Kabba Elites Forum (KEF) Identifies Senator Dino Melaye as the Greatest Enemy of Kabba

Kabba, Kogi State – June 28, 2023 – The Kabba Elites Forum (KEF), a distinguished socio-political organization dedicated to the welfare, progress, and development of Kabba and its environs, unequivocally declares Senator Dino Melaye as the greatest enemy of Kabba.

The forum, comprising influential individuals and leaders, accuses the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for the Kogi 2023 election of harboring bitterness and obstructing the establishment of a new university approved by the National Universities Commission in Kabba.

This development is perceived as a barrier to his own political ambitions, leading the Kabba people to identify him as one of their greatest enemies.

Furthermore, the Kabba Elites Forum highlights Senator Dino Melaye’s failure to express gratitude towards Governor Yahaya Bello for citing the Kogi State University in Kabba, where the Okun people could benefit from its presence. This omission signifies a disregard for the contributions made towards the development of Kabba and a failure to recognize the positive impact the university has had on the Okun community.

“It is disheartening to witness Senator Dino Melaye’s refusal to acknowledge the efforts of Governor Yahaya Bello in bringing Kogi State University to Kabba,” stated Mr. John Adewale, President of the Kabba Elites Forum. “His actions demonstrate a lack of appreciation for the opportunities and benefits this institution has provided to the Okun people.

It is time for Senator Dino Melaye to stop portraying himself as a champion of Kabba’s development.”

The Kabba Elites Forum urges the people of Kabba to carefully evaluate the actions and commitments of their political candidates in the upcoming governorship election.

It is imperative to support leaders who genuinely prioritize the welfare and progress of Kabba, rather than individuals who prioritize personal ambitions over the interests of the community.

In light of the current circumstances, the Kabba Elites Forum calls for unity among the Kabba people and emphasizes the importance of endorsing candidates who have demonstrated a sincere commitment to the advancement and prosperity of the region. It is vital to rally behind leaders who appreciate and support initiatives that benefit the community as a whole.
