King Solomon Olowo expresses gratitude to Kogi SGS, Asiwaju Prince Dr Olatunji Olusoji, Rt. Hon. Mathew Olusola Kolawole and all attendees for the success of Iyara Day 2025
Iyara, Kogi State – The Okun born humanitarian and philanthropist, King Solomon Olowo, has expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the success of Iyara Day 2025. The event, which celebrated the rich culture and tradition of the community, was a resounding success thanks to the support and contribution of various individuals.
King Solomon Olowo extended special appreciation to the Secretary to the government of Kogi State, Dr. Folashade Arike Ayoade, for honouring the community as the mother of the Day and gracing the event with her presence. He also thanked Asiwaju Prince Dr. Olatunji Olusoji for his generous donation of a swooping sum of ₦5 million towards the community development, which was announced by King Solomon Olowo on his behalf.
In addition, King Solomon Olowo expressed his gratitude to the former speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Honourable Prince Mathew Olusola Kolawole, and Dr. Fashagba, the provost of Federal Polytechnic Idah, for their support and contribution to the success of the event. He also thanked Distinguished Senator Smart Adeyemi and all political appointees who honored the invitation to be part of the celebration.
As part of his contribution to the event, King Solomon Olowo, through his “King Solomon Foundation,” distributed over 300 clothes and other palliatives to men, women, and youth groups that were present at the celebration. This gesture aimed to provide much-needed support to the community and bridge the gap in access to basic necessities.
