Kogi Assembly Clerk commiserates with family of deceased staff, saying death is inevitable for humanity
Death has been described as an inevitable end which every mortal will experience.
The Clerk of Kogi State House of Assembly and Head of Legislative Service, Alhaji Chogudo Ahmed Sule made the remark when he led Management staff and a delegation of staff members on condolences visit to the family of late Mallam Suleiman Oyibo who died in a motor accident last weekend.
In a statement released and signed by the Head of Information Department of Kogi State House of Assembly,Idowu Aliyu,he extolled the virtues of late Mallam Oyibo, saying his demise was one difficult to bear.
Alhaji Chogudo while consoling the family members urged them to take solace in the fact that their son lived a worthy and exemplary life to the admiration of all who came in contact with him.
He urged the family to continue to trust Allah who has been their help in ages past for their wellbeing as no mortal can take the place of Allah in the lives of his servants.
In a brief sermon, the Imam of Assembly Mosque, Alhaji Mohammed Bello described the existence of men on earth as a period of test from God especially when confronted with overwhelming challenges and advised the family of the deceased to accept the death of their son as a trial and pain they would overcome.
He called on the family, friends and sympathizers at the deceased home to live their daily lives in consonace with the teachings of Islam as no one knows when he would return to his Maker.
The Imam prayed Allah to grant the entire family the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
In a remark, a representative of the Family, Honourable Olowo Abdurahaman Yusuf thanked the Clerk of the House and Staff for the visit, saying the gesture would make the pain of the death short-lived.
The Deputy Clerk Administration and General Services, Aka Adebayo Michael, Director Administration and General Services, Kogi State House of Assembly Service Commission, Mr. Benjamin Dada, other Principal Officers and Staff of the Assembly and Commission accompanied the Clerk on the condolences visit.
