Kogi Conscience Group wishes Kogites a happy Christmas celebration, reiterates advocacy for power rotation
A pressure group in Kogi State, Kogi Conscience Group has felicitated with Christians in Kogi State on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration.
The group, in a statement, re-stated its advocacy for power to rotate to Kogi West, come 2027.
The group explained the basis for why power should rotate to Kogi West, advising that it is “for the betterment of Kogi State”.

“We are all equal in Kogi State. No region is more qualified to govern our dear Kogi State than another. As one united people, we have to prove it in our leadership selection process. All the other two regions have governed Kogi State, it is logically correct that we let power rotate to Kogi West,” the group said.
“This yuletide season, I urge our leaders across the three zones of our dear State, to take some time and reflect on the state of justice, fairness and equity in the leadership history of Kogi State and do right by Kogi West by naturally supporting Kogi West to produce the next Governor of Kogi State in the spirit of fairness, justice and equity,” the Kogi Conscience Group further said.
