KOGI DEPUTY GOV ENDORSES KOGI EAST YOUTH LEADERSHIP RETREAT 2025

The Deputy Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Comrade Joel Salifu has given his endorsement to the Kogi East Youth Leadership retreat 2025 scheduled to take place in March, this year.

His Excellency gave his support during a meeting with the leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria Kogi East chapter at his office in Lokoja today February 5, 2025.

In a Press Release issued by the Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Mr Unubi Emmanuel, Deputy Governor Joel Salifu emphasized the importance of the retreat in nurturing leadership skills and qualities among the younger generation. He acknowledged that the youth represent the current leadership and emphasized the significance of their readiness to assume roles and responsibilities. He expressed his willingness to back the program and ensure its success.

He encouraged the youth body to maintain a positive image for their families and contribute to the ongoing peace and prosperity of the state.

Earlier, the group’s leader, Apostle Alih Sunday, mentioned that they had met with the Deputy Governor, the most senior political leader from Kogi East, to inform him about and request his support for the upcoming Kogi East youth leadership retreat 2025. He appreciated the current administration in the state for supporting the youth council to achieve its values.
