Kogi Police Commissioner, CP Miller Decorates Senior Officers with New Rank

The Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Police Command, CP Miller G. Dantawaye, has decorated newly promoted Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) with their new rank in Lokoja.
The ceremony, which took place on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, marks a significant career milestone for the officers.
During the event, CP Dantawaye charged the newly promoted officers to uphold the values of their service and embrace their new level of leadership and duty.
He emphasized that their promotion comes with increased responsibilities and expects a greater level of performance and leadership from them.
The CP commended the officers for their commitment, discipline, and professionalism, which earned them the promotion.
He noted that their promotion is a testament to their unwavering commitment and sacrifices in ensuring the safety of lives and property in Kogi State.
On behalf of the promotees, DSP Kai Bernard, Admin Officer Imane Division, thanked the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, for finding them worthy of the elevation.
He assured that they will double their efforts in the fight against crime and criminality and ensure the safety of lives and property in Kogi State.
The ceremony was attended by family members, colleagues, and other senior officers, who gathered to celebrate the officers’ career milestone.
