Kogi SA on Youth & Student Matters meets FUL Student’s Delegation, Condemns recent Attacks
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth & Student Matter, Hon Oladele John NIHI has met with students delegation from the Federal University, Lokoja who were recently attacked by hoodlums at their various lodges to sympathized with and also assured them of the determination and commitment of Governor Ododo towards their safety in the state.
According to him, the government of Kogi State under the administration of Governor Ododo frown at the dasterdaly act and have directed the formation of some critical committees which will be handling certain functions to checkmate such menace in and around school environment.
He noted that the state will not be home to cultism, thuggery and other social vices, pointed out that the security agencies has been directed to deal decisively with anyone curt with any act of hooligansim.

Earlier today, I met with student delegation from the National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS) and the Association of Nigeria Female Students (ANFS) to address the recent incessant attacks on students in Felele, Lokoja, by thugs and cultists.
His Excellency Governor Ododo vehemently condemns these attacks and in response, has directed the formation of a committee comprising relevant authorities and security personnel to thoroughly investigate, swiftly identify those responsible and put an immediate end to these distressing incidents.
To those behind these acts of terror, I urge an immediate cessation and retreat. Be warned that there will be no leniency for anyone caught. Kogi State is no place for cultism and thuggery.
And to our dear students, you are not alone. The governor is deeply committed to the safety and well-being of every student in Kogi State. Rest assured that we will utilize all necessary resources to apprehend the perpetrators, ensure they face the full extent of the law, and guarantee your continued safety.
