Kogi State LG Council Leader’s Forum Appreciates Governor Usman Ododo for his purposeful Leadership
The forum of Local Government Legislative Council Leaders in Kogi State under the convener of Hon. (Mrs) Comfort Olufunke Obaromi, Council Leader for Kabba-Bunu Legislative Council has appreciated Governor Usman Ododo for his purposeful leadership for the state since he assumed office on the 27th January, 2024.
According to a press statement jointly signed by the council leaders of Kabba-Bunu as the convener, Ofu and Adavi as co-convener respectively, and made available to newsmen in Lokoja, describing Gov. Ododo as God sent.

We, the undersigned Council Leaders, on behalf of all other members, wish to express our profound gratitude to the Governor and Chief-Servant of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for his gender-friendly policy that gave us the uncommon opportunity to become the LEADER of the Legislative Arm at our various Local Government Council in the State.
This gender friendly policy is unprecedented in the history of political evolution in Sub-shahara Africa. We want to sincerely thank your Excellency for building on the LEGACIES of our great leader, former Governor Yahaya Bello (FGYB) the Architect of Modern Kogi State whose love for women participation in politics is unparalleled.
Sir, we are assuring your Excellency of our unalloyed support for your vision of CONTINUITY and CONSOLIDATION of the New Direction Government in the state.
To all our colleagues, we am using this medium to congratulate all of us on our emergence as Leader of the Legislative Arm of our LGA.
