According to the leader of the Afukoh Progressives Youth Forum, Azi Aware said before now, the district head of Gwafan wrote to the Commissioner of Secondary Education and requested for the posting of the Principal of the Junior session so that they can leverage on her vast experience to increase the rate of enrollment in the school.

According to him, they were surprised that the ministry did not listen to the pleads and decided to post someone to head the School without the input of Afukoh Leaders.

He said they have a lot of issues on ground that have been hindering the progress of the school and want the Ministry to come to their aid.

“We have never stop anybody or Principal posted to our Community and teachers but we have been allowing the illegality for long, there are teachers that have become landlords because they have been there for 20 years without transfer.

“We are the most peaceful and accommodating people.

We host most Federal Institutions such as Federal College of Medical Laboratory Science Technology Jos, JUTH, Citizenship and Leadership and Leadership Training Center, National Film Institute, College of Medicine, University of Jos, National Youth Center,North Central Zone, Nigerian Security and Civil defence Staff College.

“We are saying enough is enough at Government Secondary School, Lamingo.
