All roads will lead to Emevor in Isoko North Local Government Area on Thursday, November 13, 2025, as the much-anticipated Metricon Bar, Restaurant & Lounge officially opens its doors to the public in what promises to be a landmark event in the history of entertainment and hospitality in Isoko land.

The multi-million-naira facility, a brainchild of Dr. John Holt Ologho, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Metricon Bar, Restaurant & Lounge, is being hailed as a revolutionary concept designed to redefine nightlife, dining, and leisure experiences in the region.

Transforming the Socioeconomic Landscape

Speaking at a pre-launch media briefing, Dr. John Holt Ologho JP the immediate past Regent of Enevor Kingdom expressed immense optimism about the transformative impact Metricon will have on the local economy and social life.
According to him, “Metricon is not just a business venture; it is a concept designed to change the socioeconomic landscape of Emevor community in particular and Isoko Nation in general. Our vision is to position Emevor as a key destination for hospitality and lifestyle excellence.”

He emphasized that the 13th of November will not only mark the inauguration of a new entertainment hub but also symbolize “the dawn of a new era for hospitality in Isoko land.” Dr. Ologho added that Metricon’s establishment reflects a commitment to community empowerment, youth employment, and the promotion of local tourism.

Redefining Nightlife and Entertainment

On the sidelines of the event, Comrade Igho, Manager of Metricon Bar, Restaurant & Lounge, described the facility as “a new lease of life to nightlife and clubbing in Emevor and its environs.”
He explained that Metricon blends elegance, comfort, and modern luxury to deliver a world-class experience comparable to those found in metropolitan cities. “We are bringing city-standard entertainment to the heart of Isoko. Metricon is the new crave for purposeful nightlife — a place where class meets safety, and where every guest is treated like royalty,” he said.

The manager assured patrons of top-notch security and a serene environment conducive for relaxation, business meetings, and social gatherings. “We have prioritized safety and customer satisfaction in every aspect of our operations. Our guests can unwind knowing they are in secure hands,” he added.

A Blend of Culture, Class, and Comfort

The Metricon facility features a state-of-the-art restaurant offering both continental and local cuisines, a fully equipped lounge with premium drinks, an exclusive nightclub with world-class lighting and sound systems, and VIP sections tailored for high-end guests.

In addition to its architectural splendor, Metricon also promises to serve as a cultural melting pot that celebrates Isoko heritage through art, music, and hospitality. Its aesthetic design and serene atmosphere reflect a perfect blend of tradition and modernity.

A Catalyst for Economic Growth

Beyond leisure, the project is expected to create direct and indirect employment opportunities for youths across Isoko land — from hospitality and security personnel to local suppliers, entertainers, and artisans.
Dr. Ologho reaffirmed Metricon’s commitment to supporting local development initiatives, stating that “a thriving hospitality industry has a multiplier effect on the economy. Metricon will attract visitors, boost small businesses, and stimulate growth in related sectors.”

The Countdown Begins

As preparations reach fever pitch for the grand opening on November 13, anticipation continues to build across Delta State and beyond. The event is expected to draw guests from across Nigeria’s entertainment, business, and political circles, making it one of the most talked-about social gatherings in recent times.

With its bold vision, exquisite ambiance, and world-class service, Metricon Bar, Restaurant & Lounge is poised to set a new benchmark for excellence in hospitality — not only in Emevor but across the entire Isoko Nation.
