He said the Hausa Fulani and Bororo in the state are law abiding and have no record of any criminality of that nature.
The MACBAN chairman said their members have cohabited with the other ethnic groups peacefully in the state for several decades without any crisis.
Alhaji Garba alleged that the relocation of the former Sarkin Fulani of Igangan in Oyo ,Alhaji Saliu Abdulkadir to Kwara state in 2021 ,as well as the movement of other herders from conflict zones was responsible for the security challenges in the state.
He explained that the introduction of ethnicity and tribalism by Alhaji Abdulkadir in Igangan ,Oyo state which led to the tribal problem should not be allowed in Kwara state
Alhaji Garba urged government and security agencies to monitor the activities of the former Sarkin Fulani of Igangan and other migrants herders to prevent a replica of the Oyo incident in Kwara
He said following the utterances of the former Sarkin Fulani of Igangan Alhaji Abdulkadir most of their members who are leaving troubled areas to a safer place are facing harassment and molestation.
