NAYC Commends Its Patron, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris FCA, for Sponsoring AI & Digital Skills Training for 200 Kogi Youths
March 1, 2026 – Abuja, Nigeria.
The National APC Youth Coalition (NAYC) has warmly commended its Patron, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, FCA, for sponsoring a three-day intensive training on Artificial Intelligence and relevant digital skills for 200 youths across Kogi State.
In a statement released by the Coalition’s media office, NAYC described the initiative as timely, visionary, and impactful, noting that it aligns perfectly with the current global shift towards a digital economy and the urgent need to equip Nigerian youths with future-ready skills.
According to NAYC, the training—covering AI fundamentals, digital productivity tools, and employability-focused tech competencies—will not only improve the competitiveness of Kogi youths but also position them as active contributors to innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic growth.
The Coalition further praised Asiwaju Asiru Idris for consistently demonstrating that youth empowerment is best achieved through capacity-building and opportunity creation, not rhetoric.
“This intervention clearly shows that Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris is a leader who understands the future and is deliberately preparing our youths for it. He is a true ambassador of progressive governance and youth inclusion,” the statement read.
NAYC also described him as a true ambassador of Alhaji Usman Ododo, Governor of Kogi State, and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, noting that his actions reflect the practical implementation of the Renewed Hope agenda at the state level.
The Coalition applauded the Kogi State Government for creating an enabling environment for such youth-focused initiatives and called on other public office holders to emulate this example by investing in technology-driven empowerment programs for young Nigerians.
NAYC reaffirmed its commitment to supporting leaders and policies that prioritize youth development, innovation, and inclusive growth, while assuring Kogi youths of its continued advocacy for programs that translate governance into real opportunities.
