Hon. Prince Oluwakayode Emmanuel Eseyin (PDP) Applauds Historic Court Judgment Restoring Suppressed Constituencies in Kogi State.

Hon. Prince Oluwakayode of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described the judgment delivered by the High Court in Lokoja restoring the previously suppressed constituencies in Kogi State as a landmark victory for justice, equity, and democratic representation.
According to Hon. Oluwakayode, the directive that elections be conducted in the restored constituencies in the 2027 general elections is a triumph for the rule of law and the collective voice of the people of Kogi State.

Hon. Oluwakayode also expressed deep appreciation to the chief servant of kogi state Usman Ahmed Ododo, Executive Governor, for his swift and decisive action following the House Resolution, describing his intervention as a demonstration of true statesmanship and commitment to inclusive governance.

Special commendation was extended to the diligent legal team whose professionalism and resilience ensured a successful judicial outcome, as well as to Zacchaeus Dare Michael the Executive Chairman, kabba bunu LGA for his proactive leadership and unwavering advocacy that strengthened the cause.
Hon. Eseyin congratulated the beneficiaries of the restored constituencies, particularly the good people of Kabba/Bunu, noting that their perseverance has been rewarded and their democratic rights reaffirmed.
He urged INEC to promptly comply with the court’s judgment and take all necessary steps to ensure full implementation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“This is not just a legal victory; it is a victory for democracy, fairness, and the enduring will of our people. Together, we will continue to strengthen democratic institutions and ensure that no voice in Kogi State is ever silenced again,” he stated.
