NAYC Inaugurates APGN Executives Across Yagba Federal Constituency, Rallies Support for Rt. Hon. Leke Abejide
The National APC Youth Coalition (NAYC), in support of the Member representing Yagba East/Yagba West/Mopamuro Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Leke Abejide, successfully inaugurated the Local Government and Ward Executives of the Abejide Progressive Grassroots Network (APGN) in a ceremony held today, Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the Yagba East Local Government Secretariat, NULGE House, Isanlu.
The inauguration, which covered the three local government areas that make up the Yagba Federal Constituency, brought together party faithful, youth leaders, grassroots mobilizers, and political stakeholders committed to strengthening the APC ahead of future political engagements.
In his keynote address, the Director General of the National APC Youth Coalition (NAYC), Hon. Aiyelabowo Adebanji Austin, charged the newly inaugurated executives to remain committed to grassroots networking, unity, and effective mobilization across their respective wards and local governments.

Hon. Austin described the Abejide Progressive Grassroots Network as a platform designed to deepen grassroots participation and ensure that the achievements of Rt. Hon. Leke Abejide are adequately communicated to every community within the constituency.
Highlighting the lawmaker’s stewardship over the past seven years in office, he praised Rt. Hon. Leke Abejide for his outstanding performance in education, welfare, humanitarian services, security, agriculture, and infrastructure development.
According to him, the remarkable achievements recorded by the federal lawmaker have earned him the confidence and admiration of the people, stressing that there is no better way to appreciate such quality representation than rewarding him with overwhelming votes.
The DG also commended the Executive Chairman of Yagba East Local Government, Hon. (Dr.) Joshua Dare Monday, for his unwavering support towards the success of the programme, while equally appreciating the chairmen of the other local government areas within the constituency for their cooperation and commitment to the progress of the APC.
As part of the ceremony, the newly inaugurated Local Government and Ward Executives formally took their oath of office, administered by the Director General, who urged them to discharge their responsibilities with integrity, dedication, and loyalty to the party and its ideals.
The event also featured goodwill messages from the coordinators of Yagba East, Yagba West, and Mopamuro Local Government Areas, who reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the grassroots structure of the network and working collectively towards sustaining the developmental vision and political success of Rt. Hon. Leke Abejide.
