NIGER STATE GOVERNMENT IS TO CONSTRUCT KUTA-ZUMBA ROAD FOR EASY ACCESS.

Niger State Government has promised to construct Kuta-Zumba road for easy accessibility and connectivity.

Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago made the promise when he interacted with stakeholders in Kuta, the headquarters of Shiroro local government area, in continuation of his statewide visit and projects monitoring.

He said the road project will commence in no distant time to provide succour to those plying the road.

The farmer Governor directed his Deputy who is from the local government to ensure that electricity is restored to the people in the next 20 days.

While expressing his joy for the overwhelming support from the people of Shiroro local government, farmer Governor Umaru Bago reassured the people of his administration’s unwavering determination to adequately address insecurity in the area.

He announced that the Senator representing Niger East Senatorial District, Senator Mohammed Sani Musa will renovate the Mosque in Kuta town, sponsor 200 students, one make and one female in each ward across the Senatorial District to study in Singapore and construct a mini stadium in Kuta town for sporting activities.

Deputy Governor, Comrade Yakubu Garba, has appreciated the people of Kuta for their unalloyed support to the present administration in the State and assured them of continuous dividends of democracy to the community.

Niger East Senator, Sen. Mohammed Sani Musa expressed delight with the gathering and assured them that the government has evolved strategies aimed at addressing the insecurity bedeviling the people.

In their separate remarks, the Chairman of Shiroro local government area, Akilu Isyaku and Prof. Bashar Nuhu Tachi, an elder statesman in the local government commended the farmer Governor for the visit, for the good working relationship with his Deputy who is one of their own, the relative peace being experienced in the local government area and the remarkable projects his administration is executing across the State.

They, however, appealed for more effort to beef up security in the local government area and the completion of the road project to Erena town which was abandoned due to insecurity, and promised their continued support to the administration to ensure its success.

The farmer Governor was honoured with the title of Amanan Shiroro by the entire people and stakeholders of Shiroro local government area for the positive things he has been doing for the people of the local government area.
