Obaro of Kabba, Oba Solomon Owoniyi, and Other Dignitaries attend 40th-Day Prayer of Alhaji Barrister Mohammed Kabiru Fadile
The Obaro of Kabba and Chairman, Okun Area Traditional Council, Oba Solomon Owoniyi, the Obadofin of Oweland, Oba Segun Areh, and family and friends of the late Alhaji Barrister Mohammed Kabiru Fadile gathered at his Odolu residence for a 40th-day prayer.
The event drew dignitaries, including Chief (Col.) Bello Fadile (rtd) who led the family members from Katu Ruling House, community leaders, and captains of industry, to celebrate Alhaji Fadile’s life and legacy.
A former Chairman of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, Alhaji Fadile was a dedicated leader who served as President of Kabba Muslim Community.
He distinguished himself as an outstanding legal luminary, contributing significantly to the professiion, community development, peace, and unity in Oweland and Okun nation.
The Obaro-in-Council praised him as a “titan who made significant contributions to the development of Oweland”.
The 40th-day prayer marked a significant milestone in the Muslim mourning period, paying tribute to Alhaji Fadile’s legacy.
Other dignitaries who attended the event includes the Honourable Commissioner for Education in Kogi State, Hon Wemi Jones, Hon Bode Adeyemi, Special Adviser on Energy to the Governor, Hon Mrs Comfort Obaromi, Council Leader, Kabba/Bunu Legislative Council, Col. Yomi Dare (rtd), Chief Julius Arokoyo, members of NBA, Kabba Branch, other Royal fathers etc.
