Ogidi Day 2024: Omodara Calls on Okun Sons and Daughters To Unite, Support Government To Tackle Insecurity.

Kogi State Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara (rtd) has called on Okun Sons and daughters to unite for more prosperity, peace and development of the land.
Commander Omodara who represented Governor Ododo Usman was speaking at the 2024 Ogidi Day Festival, popularly known as Nigeria’s biggest Cultural festival in June in Nigeria.

The Security Adviser, who also called for concerted effort and support for the Government in tackling security issues, said security is the business of everyone and requires collective effort.
According to him, the present administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is not resting in its bid to nip insecurity in the bud, saying he is committed to the safety of lives and property in the State.
Commander Omodara said criminals don’t operate based on religion, political party and ethnic sentiments, hence the need to come together and support security agencies by providing necessary information.
He thanked Traditional Rulers for their support to the fight against insecurity, urging them to sustain the temple.
The Security Adviser particularly praised the Ologidi of Ogidi, HRM. Oba Rabiu Oladimeji Sule for his moral and spiritual support to the Ododo led administration, describing him as a dependable Monarch.
Responding, the Ologidi applauded the diligence, hard work and professionalism displayed by Commander Jerry Omodara in the discharge of his duties, saying he will continue to support him with prayers.
