KOGI MONARCHS, PRINCE OLUSOJI GRACE OONI’S ROYAL CEREMONY
Ohinoyi, Obaro of Kabba, Elulu of Mopa Join Distinguished Guests at Naming, Homecoming of Twin Princes in Ile-Ife

The ancient city of Ile-Ife was agog with royalty, culture and celebration as prominent traditional rulers and distinguished personalities from Kogi State joined other eminent Nigerians at the royal naming ceremony and homecoming of the twin princes of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, at the Ooni’s Palace, Ile-Ife.
Among the distinguished Kogi personalities who attended the prestigious ceremony were His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Tajjani Anase, the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland; His Royal Majesty, Oba Solomon Owoniyi, the Obaro of Kabba; His Royal Majesty, Oba Muyiwa Ibeun, the Elulu of Mopa; and Asiwaju Prince Olatunji Olusoji, the Asiwaju of Ayere Kingdom in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State and Chairman of Goveronos Group of Companies.
The gathering attracted traditional rulers, political leaders, business executives, community leaders, cultural stakeholders, members of the royal family and well-wishers from across the country who converged on the palace to celebrate the arrival of the royal twins.

The presence of the Kogi monarchs at the ceremony added significant royal colour to the historic celebration and underscored the enduring cultural relationships connecting the traditional institutions of Kogi State with the wider Yoruba traditional family.
The Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, His Royal Majesty Alhaji Tajjani Anase, brought the dignity and prestige of the Ebira traditional institution to the occasion, joining other royal fathers in celebrating the Ooni and his family.
Also in attendance was Oba Solomon Owoniyi, the Obaro of Kabba and Chairman of the Okun Area Traditional Council, whose presence represented the traditional leadership of Okunland at the important royal gathering.
As a leading traditional authority in Kogi West, the Obaro’s attendance further highlighted the deep historical and cultural ties between Okunland and Ile-Ife.
The Elulu of Mopa, His Royal Majesty Oba Muyiwa Ibeun, was equally present at the ceremony. His participation added another distinguished Okun royal presence to the gathering, as he joined fellow monarchs and dignitaries in celebrating the royal family.
Among the distinguished non-monarchical personalities at the event was Asiwaju Prince Olatunji Olusoji, the Asiwaju of Ayere Kingdom in Ijumu Local Government Area and Chairman of Goveronos Group of Companies.
Prince Olusoji, a renowned philanthropist, community leader and businessman, was among the eminent guests who identified with the Ooni and his royal household on the joyous occasion.
His presence at the palace further demonstrated his strong affinity for traditional institutions and cultural values, as well as his commitment to community development and the promotion of unity among the people.
The ceremony was not only a celebration of the birth and naming of the twin princes but also a colourful demonstration of Nigeria’s rich traditional heritage.
Guests offered prayers and goodwill to the royal family, wishing the twin princes long life, wisdom, good health, prosperity and a future marked by service and positive impact.
