Plateau man of Year: late J.D Gwomwalk, Solomon Lar and GNS Pwajok receives Posthumous Awards:
50 Distinguished personalities on the Plateau, at the Weekend, received Various categories of awards cut across various fields of human endeavours.
The Plateau man of the year award is well celebrated event, that attracts people from different walks of life.
The 11th Edition celebrated at the Osuji event centre and coincides with the Commemoration of Plateau at 50.

The convener,
Ambassador Cletus Akhime, who is also the convener of the face of Plateau Pageant,Plateau Peace Submit and Cletus Akhime Foundation.
Expresses his gratitude to the entire Plateau People for their support.
According to him,his greatest strength and trust is in God, he,thank the people of Plateau for coming out en-mass and shows solidarity.
The project is not about me, but about the state and this is our little contribution in placing Plateau State in the global map to also led the world know that we are the peaceful people on the Plateau with rich Cultural heritage.
Ambassador Cletus, seized the opportunity to call on All well meaning Individuals to support the face of Plateau Pageant, the initiative is to empower the girl child,he reiterated.
We have alot of potentials on the Plateau and I strongly believe that we should celebrate them especially,those that have Excel and we should celebrate them when they’re still alive.
This edition is the 11 edition,the first two editions were not rosy and palatable but, we are committed to the vision of Plateau State which is the Plateau Dream, celebrate people who are immensely contributing to the progress and development of the State and glory be to God,this one coincides with the commomerat ion of Plateau at 50 and we gave 50 different awards includes the posthumous awards to late J.D Gwomwalk,Solomon Lar and GNS Pwajok which you can’t talk of Plateau State without their contributions.
Other Awardees includes,Nanle Silas Longsan as the digital and online media influencer,Abdurasheed Sani Waziri as the Entrepreneur of the year 2025.
Outstanding Model went to Queen Stephenie VeratJoseph.
Jay F.M, receives the best Radio Station, Arin Izere, Won the Artist of the Year,Pam Musa, Journalist of the Year.
Mr. Shabul Mazadu, awarded the best publisher of the year.
Other Awardees includes Dr. Gyang Bere,Director of Press to the Governor of Plateau State,Senator Simon Mwatwon,Hon. Ubandoma Laven, Commissioner for Works and Commissioner for Tourism and Culture.
The event attracted thousands of Plateau People including politicians,Academia, entrepreneurs amongs others.
