Senator Garba Musa Maidoki Is Transforming Healthcare Access in Kebbi South.

In a remarkable demonstration of service, compassion, and commitment to his people, Distinguished Senator Garba Musa Maidoki has continued to redefine leadership through concrete action. This week, communities across Kebbi South Senatorial District witnessed yet another milestone as over 500 beneficiaries were officially enrolled into the Kebbi State Contributory Healthcare Scheme, giving families access to quality medical care and long-term health security.
The enrollment exercise, which took place in Ngaski Local Government Area, was coordinated by a dedicated medical team led by the Director of Health for Ngaski LGA, with the active participation of local government councilors, party officials, and the Senator’s field coordinator, Alhaji Atiku Allarama Warra. Their unified presence underscored the seriousness and sincerity behind the initiative—an initiative centered entirely on improving the health and livelihood of the people.
Speaking during the exercise, the Special Assistant to Senator Maidoki, Hon. Dantani Yalo, disclosed that the Senator has sponsored medical treatments for over 700 individuals across hospitals nationwide. These beneficiaries include men, women, elderly citizens, and even young people battling a wide range of serious medical conditions.
Among the cases treated were, Chronic back pain,
Cervical cancer, Severe osteoporosis, Lumbar spondylosis, Fractures of the limbs, Diabetes and hypertension, Breast cancer,
Kidney infections, and
Complex abdominal conditions among others.
Many patients who required advanced orthopedic care were referred to the renowned Dala Orthopedic Hospital in Kano State, where Senator Maidoki personally settled all surgical and medical bills.

Samaila Aliyu, who endured a fracture of the left ankle and Hundreds of other fracture patients who today are back on their feet after receiving expert care
Senator Maidoki also sponsored several hypertensive patients, including Garba Samaila, to receive advanced medical attention at the National Hospital, Abuja.
Across the country, over 200 women, including household heads and widows, received medical support and treatment in various accredited hospitals—an intervention that has restored hope and dignity to families facing health challenges.
At UDUTH Sokoto, Hadizat Mohammed received treatment for an anterior GRD compression, while others battling life-threatening conditions such as breast cancer and kidney infections underwent successful treatments.
In Minna, Aisha Suleiman was treated at the IBB Specialist Hospital for a prolonged abdominal and physiological complication—another testimony to the Senator’s commitment to making quality healthcare accessible regardless of distance or cost.
Over the past months, Senator Garba Musa Maidoki has spent millions of naira ensuring that the people of Kebbi South do not bear the burden of medical crises alone. From surgeries to hospital bills, diagnostic tests, referrals, and follow-up treatments, every intervention reflects a leadership anchored in empathy and genuine responsibility.
Residents across Kebbi South have continued to express gratitude for the Senator’s relentless efforts, describing his initiatives as “a lifeline”, “a blessing to the district”, and “true representation in action.”
