Senator Karimi Leads Kogi APC Stakeholders to Unite Behind Tinubu’s Leadership for 2027 Re-Election.
The political leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State has rallied strongly behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, endorsing him for a second term ahead of the 2027 general election, in a move spearheaded by Senator Sunday Karimi Steve.

The endorsement was made at a well-attended meeting of the Kogi Progressive Stakeholders Forum (KPSF) held in Lokoja, where party leaders, elders, and stakeholders drawn from the 21 local government areas of the state unanimously declared their support for President Tinubu’s re-election bid.
Leading the motion for endorsement, Senator Karimi, who represents Kogi West Senatorial District, praised President Tinubu’s leadership style and policy direction, describing him as Nigeria’s best-performing president in the last 30 years.

He said the administration’s bold economic reforms, infrastructure drive, and governance vision have set the country on a sustainable path of growth and stability.
Karimi urged party members to remain united and focused, stressing that internal cohesion within the APC is critical to consolidating the gains of the Tinubu administration and securing victory in 2027.
He called on stakeholders to avoid divisive tendencies and instead work collectively for the progress of both Kogi State and Nigeria.
Chairman of the KPSF and former Governor of Kogi State, Captain Idris Wada (rtd.), also emphasized the importance of early political alignment and consensus-building, noting that President Tinubu’s leadership has provided a solid foundation for national development.
He encouraged party faithful to intensify grassroots mobilization and voter engagement in preparation for the next general election.
Participants at the forum applauded the president’s courage in implementing difficult but necessary economic reforms, maintaining that the long-term benefits of the policies would outweigh the initial challenges faced by Nigerians.
The overwhelming endorsement from Kogi APC stakeholders signals growing confidence in President Tinubu’s leadership and reinforces the state’s readiness to play a key role in his anticipated 2027 re-election campaign.
