Team Nigeria Receives Warm Hospitality in Hot Springs, Arkansas ahead of Babe Ruth League World Series showdown against Host Team.
Team Nigeria, competing in the Babe Ruth League World Series in Hot Springs, Arkansas, has been overwhelmed with the warm hospitality extended to them by Pastor Jamie Staley and his son, Brother Joshua Staley of the First Baptist Church.
The Nigerian team, set to face the host team in the 14U age group, were surprised by the Staleys’ generosity as they took the time to assist the team with a special batting session at a local facility in preparation for the upcoming crucial match.
Expressing gratitude for the support, Mr. Ayodele Gideon, the League President of Babe Ruth League Nigeria and Ambrose Agbomhekhe Ozimede, Secretary General of Babe Ruth League Nigeria Inc. and Business Manager/Coach of Team Nigeria, speaking on behalf of the country commissioner Mr Imonikhe John Peter emphasized the significance of the gesture, highlighting the spirit of unity and camaraderie fostered by such acts of kindness.
